Jeana Schroeder - Owner/Operator

Art has always been a big part of my life. I graduated from WWU with a degree in Fine Arts, emphasis in Graphic Design. I taught as an art docent in my kids’ elementary school for 9 years, three of those years as a co-coordinator for the program. I enjoy exploring and creating with a variety of mediums.

Since 2016 I have focused on interior decorative wall finishes. For five years I trained under the supervision of Tracy Wade of Tracy Wade Design who introduced me to metallic paints, plasters, and a variety of different techniques used to make texture. When Tracy decided she was ready to retire, it seemed like a natural step for me to start my own business.

I started Royal Design Finishes in September of 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic. Not the easiest time to start a new business, but not impossible!

RDF is based out of Bothell, WA and serves the greater Seattle area.
